Who Told You?

bigstock-Inspiration--d-25409870Who Told You?????
This was the question the Lord asked Adam and Eve in the garden.
“Who told you that you were naked?…” (Gen. 3:10).Who told you you would never amount to anything?
Who told you there is no hope?
Who told you can’t change the way you eat?
Who told you to give up?

There are many voices in this world…. Whose voice are you listening to?

John 10:4  tells us   “…the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

We read in Matthew 11:15: “He who has ears to hear; let him hear!”

The Question:   Are you listening?

Isaiah 55:2-3 says:   …”Listen carefully to Me and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance, incline your ear and come to Me, hear and your soul shall live…”
The question is not,  is God speaking?  The question is are you listening?
Do you expect to hear God’s Voice?  Expectation stirs your faith to receive from  God.  Reading the Word of God gives you the capacity to hear God.

We need to shut out the voices of the world, to listen carefully to the Lord.  For when He speaks, I am strengthened!

“…So when He spoke to me I was strengthened and said, ‘Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me'” (Daniel 10:19).

One Response to Who Told You?

I pray that the Lord do for me (and even greater works) what HE has done for you. I believe I am also addicted to food and have been praying for answers for years. I believe GOD wants me to live and not die. I was not always fat and I feel as I let food rule and dictate to me long enough, but I’m tired of serving it. I need a plan and it sounds like better choices, and the word of GOD works for transformation. I want to look and live and to help others do so as well!
